Omarion (born Omari Ishmael
Grandberry on November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California) is an
American R&B singer, actor, and the former lead singer of boy band
B2K. He was introduced to Raz-B, J-Boog and Lil' Fizz through Chris Stokes (CEO of TUG). Omarion and IMX member Marques Houston claimed to be half brothers, and in fact can be seen showing off a house they live in together on an episode of the highly popular MTV show, Cribs. Omarion is the older brother of R&B singer O'Ryan. B2K disbanded in January 2004, right after appearing in the Screen Gems film You Got Served. In 2005, Omarion released his solo debut album, entitled O. The singles are "O" which is release in late 2004, "Touch", and "I'm Tryna". Omarion was also featured on Bow Wow's #4 hit "Let Me Hold You". On December 12, 2006, Omarion is currently releasing his sophomore album entitled 21. The album's first single will be "Entourage" which Omarion's bandmate Lil Fizz is performed on the video and this single is recently leaked via internet. [edit] London Bombings Controversy Omarion was in London at the time of the July 7th tube bombings. Whilst he was not near any of the stations nor did he travel on the London Underground during his stay; a press release was released on his behalf asking for people to pray for his safe return to the USA.
