She writes love songs from her heart and sings from her soul with pleasure. Her music is about love, having fun, it sort of reflects her own life. That's probably why she has written so many wonderful songs. As most people know, she was married to Biggie, they actually married within days of meeting each other. They did have a wonderful young boy together, Christopher Wallace Jr. named right after Biggie. When Biggie died, it was a tragic loss in Faith's life. Both her, Puffy & 112 wrote I'll Be Missing You, which hit the #1 spot on billboard. Faith was once a sad widow, but she is now a happy young lady, with a newborn and a new man! "God sent him to me and I really feel he's my soul mate," says Faith. Faith Evans was a fabulous student at school. She got A's and B's and was on the honor roll. Before her music career, she was offered a full scholarship to Fordham University. Unfortunately she had to turn the offer down, because she got pregnant at the age of 18. But she did graduate high school. After graduating, she then had a singing job on a couple of Al B's demo songs. So Al B was a big help with Faith's music career. Sean "Puffy" Combs then signed her onto Bad Boy records. Faith was the first and only R&B lady from Bad Boy. She is actually considered the "Lady Of Bad Boy" and no one can never take away that spot from her. Even Puffy said it in "All Night Long" and that's why Kelly Price rejected Bad Boy! Faith has had numerous hits, such as "Ain't Nobody" but her second album is probably doing 10x better than her first. Her first single off of "Keep The Faith," which was "Love Like This" went straight to Billboard. Her second and third singles also made it to Billboard.
As you can see, this young, beautiful diva from Lakeland Fl. is doing one hell of a good job!!!!!!!!!!! |
